Thousands are expected this year at the Oakland Museum of California. Six stages will feature over twenty bands including Goapele, Social Unrest, Dizzy Balloon, and The Souls of Mischief on the Amoeba Music Main Stage with a special Emcee appearance by Odessa Lil, Mistress of Ceremonies. The Electronica Underground will be bumping to the beats of an all star line-up courtesy of Syd Gris (Opel Productions), including Dyloot, Dresden & Johnston, Mephisto Odyssey, and more. Visitors will be greeted at the main entrance Amoeba Music DJ Stage by DJ Platurn and the Oakland Faders. From R&B to metal, this party covers a wide range of great East Bay sounds.

The Professional Contact Sports Ring will host mixed martial arts, Capoeria, and Lucha Libre. The DAI Style Lounge will showcase more than forty local, independent designers and host makeovers and a fashion show. In the Gear Head Garage, Godspeed will give performance bike demos and Harley Davidson will display their finest hogs.

The event will be topped off with a site specific light art performance by artists from The Illuminated Corridor, live art demonstrations by Blick Art, an International Dance Stage, comedians, and local restaurant and retail vendors. And for all the kids that like to rock, there’s the Chabot Space & Science Center’s Kids’ Zone with a variety of fun hands-on activities and music from 5pm-9pm. It’s sure to be a killer party.
